The vault game
The vault game is a third way to play the board, on Strike testnet only. You tap a box at a fixed multiplier, and your stake and payout go against a shared pool of testnet dollars, the LP vault. Anyone can add to that pool and share in what it earns.
Everything here is testnet dollars from a faucet, with no real-world value. The app says "testnet" next to every vault amount.
- Stake of one tap
- $0.10–$1
- Fee on each stake
- 1%
- Smallest deposit
- $10
- Before a withdrawal is paid
- 24 h
Start
- Pick Vault in the mode list (phones: under your balance; tablets and computers: the Live | Demo | Vault switch). It shows only where the vault game is on.
- Connect a Strike testnet wallet. It's the same Builder Connect as Live: Connect your wallet →
- Tap Get testnet dollars. You can take them once a day.
Tap a box
Each box shows the multiplier a tap gets. When you tap, the vault quotes that box, and the tap goes through only if the quote is exactly the multiplier you saw. Your tap then locks it: you're paid exactly that if the price touches the box in its 10-second window. If the price moved and the quote came back different, higher or lower, nothing is staked: the box shows the new number, and your next tap takes it.
| Step | Example |
|---|---|
| The box shows | 3.4× |
| Your stake | $0.50 |
| Locked | 3.4× · $0.50 pays $1.70 if hit |
| Net if it hits | +$1.20 |
The multipliers are priced below fair odds, and that margin is the house edge the vault earns. On top, 1% of each stake is the protocol fee. Nothing else is charged.
Results
Taps settle in 1-minute batches, a few seconds after the minute of their window ends. Your taps are listed under the board (on computers, beside it): Open with what a win pays, then Won, Lost or Void. A void, when the price feed had a gap in the window, refunds your stake and its fee.
When a tap is refused, the line under the board says why: the box is full, your limit for the window or the hour is reached, the price is stale, or the vault is paused at its floor. Nothing is staked then.
Be an LP
Open Vault in the menu for your position and the vault's figures.
- Deposit from $10. Your shares mint at the next 1-minute batch, at the vault's price per share.
- Withdraw an amount, or all. Your shares lock at once and the first withdraw pass at least 24 hours later pays them. A withdrawal must leave you no shares or at least $10 of them. You can cancel until it's paid.
- The vault keeps a floor of $10,000 per $1 of the largest tap. Only capital above it is paid out. When the floor binds, the due requests share what is above it pro rata, and each unpaid part waits for the next pass.
- LPs earn the house edge on taps. The performance fee is 20% of each deposit's own gain, taken when it's withdrawn and every 14 days.
The dashboard
The vault page shows its pricing and risk NAV, the price per share, its tier (tier 0 has the full limits; after losses, tiers 1 to 3 tighten them), how far it is above the withdrawal floor and the $4,000 pause floor, what is withdrawable, the change in price per share over the last week (before fees), the edge taps paid out against the edge expected, fees, and the withdraw queue.
Where the operator links one, it also mirrors a Strike user vault on testnet, read only: strikeabox does not trade, deposit or withdraw there.
Good to know
- The vault game runs on Strike testnet only. It has no mainnet version.
- Demo and Live are unchanged: a vault tap moves no Demo balance and opens no Strike position.
