Practice
Tap with free practice credits. Touch the box in its window and you get a fixed multiplier; miss and the stake is gone; not enough evidence and you get it back. No wallet.

Tap a box on a live Strike price chart: a price band in a ten-second window. Practise free with credits, or open a real bracket position on Strike.Practice on Strike mainnet pricesLive trades on Strike testnet, no real fundsPractice credits have no cash value
The grid is shared. What a tap means is not, and the market behind it can differ too.
| Practice | Live | |
|---|---|---|
| What a tap does | Places a prediction on a price box, decided by the server | Opens a real perpetual position on Strike, with a take-profit at the box and a protective stop |
| Market on the board | The deployment's data network. On the hosted app: Strike mainnet's public prices and order book, labelled "Strike mainnet prices" | The network Live orders execute on, with its own prices and order book. On the hosted app: Strike testnet, labelled "Live · testnet" |
| What you use | Practice credits: no cash value, not redeemable | Collateral in your Strike account: testnet USD on the hosted app, with no real value |
| Result | Fixed multiplier if the box is touched, else the stake is lost; void means refund | Real fills, real fees and real P&L from Strike. No fixed payout |
| Wallet | Not needed | Needed: Strike Builder Connect |
| Decided by | Strike mark price stream recorded by strikeabox | Strike's matching engine fills and your account stream |
Some statements are promises the code keeps. Others are assumptions of a model. The pages mark them:
strikeabox's own numbers on these pages (grid sizes, timings, limits, the house edge) come from one parameter file in the source code (packages/core/src/params.ts). Strike's numbers, such as its trading fees and market minimums, are Strike's and can change. If a number here and the app ever disagree, the app is the one in force, and the docs are wrong. Tell us on GitHub.
No real funds on the hosted app. Not financial advice.
Practice uses credits with no cash value: they can't be bought, sold or withdrawn. On the hosted app, practice follows Strike mainnet's public prices, and Live orders execute on Strike testnet, with testnet USD. A deployment can execute Live orders on Strike mainnet only when its operator turns that on explicitly, and there the funds are real. Read the risk disclosure before you use Live mode.
